| Glaswegian born singer-songwriter Ryan Kershaw delivers beautifully emotive reflections on life. Deftly navigating the alt-folk/acoustic tradition Ryan weaves touching and thought provoking vocals into poignant, often sublime, tracks. The struggle of life gives birth to the thoughts and philosophies touched on in Ryan’s lyrics. He describes his writing process as almost unexplainable; “trance-like”. Creating music is as much a necessity as breathing or eating; songwriting as much a form of therapy as an artistic process. Echoes of Tom McRae and Damien Rice are in evidence but dig a little deeper and find the influence of The Doors, Pink Floyd and The Beatles. |
