From arrangement to production, recording and distribution; from marketing to connecting with a fanbase. Red Tangent will support our clients throughout their musical journey all the way from grassroots to releasing music worldwide. Our mission is to let you hear amazing music that affects you and then to make you think about your notion of what it means to be an ex prisoner.

Channeling metal infused hip hop Wak Therapists drag the fierce, raw and undiluted sound of the system into the light. Welding hot grooves, big bass and massive distortion to the sick spitting of Verbo and the Pariah the band are a natural product of the system into which they were born. Taking influence as much from Cypress Hill as Rage Against the Machine and with a passion for energising live performances Wak Therapists are a fiercely raw and undiluted hip hop metal melting pot. |

Glaswegian born singer-songwriter Ryan Kershaw delivers beautifully emotive reflections on life. Deftly navigating the alt-folk/acoustic tradition Ryan weaves touching and thought provoking vocals into poignant, often sublime, tracks. The struggle of life gives birth to the thoughts and philosophies touched on in Ryan’s lyrics. He describes his writing process as almost unexplainable; “trance-like”. Creating music is as much a necessity as breathing or eating; songwriting as much a form of therapy as an artistic process. Echoes of Tom McRae and Damien Rice are in evidence but dig a little deeper and find the influence of The Doors, Pink Floyd and The Beatles. |

“Changing Tunes strongly support desistance from crime by growing individual potential through music.”
Professor Shadd Maruna, co-creator of desistance theory
Music can lift us out of depression or move us to tears – it is a remedy, a tonic, orange juice for the ear. But for many of my neurological patients, music is even more – it can provide access, even when no medication can, to movement, to speech, to life. For them, music is not a luxury, but a necessity.
